Imagine inviting an expert on child development, self-esteem, or challenging “tween” temperaments into your home each week for a series of conversations on the ins and outs, and challenges and joys of parenting. Eager-to-Learn does just that.

Offering classes on every aspect of understanding, caring for, and encouraging children, the program is guided by the philosophy that parents are their children’s most important teachers, and that kids, in their own right, have things to teach their parents.

“I have been participating in the parent’s class for self esteem. I love it! As a stay at home mother, it is nice to get some adult stimulation and help my children at the same time. I had my baby on my lap during one of the classes, and aside from him typing a bit of gibberish on the keyboard, he didn’t bother the class or disrupt. I could also ‘go to class’ in PJ’s and slippers. ”
